From dawn’s tap light and form flow
Alchemists begin transmuting gold
Dividend over a ragged ruler
And kneaded by metamorphoses
A warming yellow with a blushing cheek
Sweeps away the specks of dust
And distils cerulean from black

Timely prophesised gestation
The reappearance of a king’s golden crown
Gently guided by Thor’s touch
Freed appendages struggle for certainty and control
Probing and retracting with the obligatory poke in the eye
The umbilical cord narrows, thins, disappears
Revealing the unmistakeable radiant golden smile

Elsewhere multifaceted coloured blossoms bloom
Chasing shadows back into their hiding places
Necklaces of water gems sparkle outlining the normally unseen
Revealing a multitude of exquisite stained glass window views
Emerging life shakes free from hibernation
Rising wisps of captured dew struggle free
All individually infused by the golden touch

Layers of grey are peeled back
Revealing the artist’s underlying palette
Then changing the saturation to brighter hues
A vista of colour swatches and silhouettes together
Islands shine and fade, billowing and contracting across the landscape
Climbing mountains and rolling down the other side
Hills and valleys adorn themselves with the frolicking clouds

Howrah Ra Ra
Ra’s worn chariot wheels have been replaced
And once again climb effortlessly into the sky
Friction turns the wheels white hot
Intensifying as they rise to the apex in the sky
Showering the earth with the fare of life
Flushing faces of exaltation

From the initial silent calm
Whispers of moving air introduce the fugue
Distant sounds herald the waling of tuning instruments
Just prior to the full orchestra breaking out
A zephyr introduces the first movement
Caressing erotically in surging and waning wisps
Enveloping and titillating bare flesh

A more capricious second movement evolves
Discarded leaves and dust take up the tune
Scraping their heels along the hard ground
Swirling dervish tarantella, rising and falling with the gusts
A surge of energy spontaneously introduces the woodwinds
Trees bend and sway in harmonic motion
Whipping thousands of leaf reeds into a whistling frenzy

Grey wash cloths overcast the sky
Urging the orchestra into full swing
A few scattered splashes proclaim a major key
Reeds now transform into keys
Raising decibels as the raindrop serenade unfolds
Leaves struck purposely at first soon turn into a flurry of notes
Splashing water advertises a dimension of a raucous cascade

Percussion and brass come to the fore
With their bellowing voices they announce their power
On each shinning Baton stroke
Drums boom and cymbals crash
Backed by the smashing of pelting hail
The crescendo builds and is carried to it’s peek
The energy is spent

The orchestra continues on it’s road trip
Trailing the conductor and wash cloths behind
Instructing the zephyr to clean up the scene
While the air temperature quickly rises to meet the skin
The atmosphere almost cracks from crispness
The hiding cautiously return
In it’s drenched and bloated stupor the earth gives up  on the remaining pools
